This is a wonderful thank you to Dr Robert’s and Carrie for all of the help they have provided to me to help me gain myself back from a long term disability with a chronic pain illness it has truly helped me to get the services that they provide me to help me through my disability in my life recovery. If it helps I would not be here today because the pain would have taken me out for sure. Pain is a disease that will never stop until it gets worse but because of the technology of Dr Robert’s office I have a fighting chance to beat this disease. Thank you to all of their staff

I would like to give a big shout out. To Dr. Roberts and his amazing and professional staff, at the Shoals location Pain Management. Every day for years, I have woken with pain in my back and not able to do things like weed, eat wash dishes bend over for short periods of time, without pain, but after multiple shots from different doctors. It only took one visit and a short procedure at Shoals Pain management, and I am cured. Thank you Dr. Roberts.

Okay I was diagnosed about 8 months ago with ruptures of 2 tendons that are designed to connect the neck to the shoulder (in this case my right shoulder). They actually “rolled up” into my neck. My surgeon is a well known and respected physician at SportsMed and actually operated on that same shoulder about six years ago. So I had x-rays and an MRI that conclusion I needed immediate surgery the downtime is more than 12 months. I told him I’d get back to him after I “think about it”. My decision was made the second he explained the more than a year to recover. I continued to workout with using variations allowing me to continue. About 4 months ago I learned about Dr. Roberts and his methods to help with pain. Long story short; I ended up on an operating table with “AWESOME” sedation as Dr. Roberts administered a specific procedure with the goal to reduce pain enough that lifting weights was at least tolerated. After 2 weeks we had an appointment to discuss any effects from the surgery whether good or bad. Bottom line the procedure didn’t provide any relief. While a bit disappointed with the results, I still felt the abilities of Dr. Roberts! He then told me about a different procedure that was pretty much the same as the previous one. However the actual medicines were very different and as he explained it, he used the analogy of when a woman was about to have a new baby and the physicians used something called an epidural to reduce the pain. So I immediately said “let’s do it” and a date was set. This was about 2 weeks ago and at this point can say it has helped. So all that to add what happened to me 2 days ago while working out; My left shoulder began hurting extremely and my heart was very broken! So when I made it home from the gym 2 days ago, I immediately got my little piece of equipment commonly known as a “Stim Machine”. Basically it contains 4 pads with each having a sticky surface to ensure not allowing them to fall off. I continued to use the apparatus at full strength for about 3 hours before removing the pads. My pain had subsided quite a bit and I was capable ti get a pretty good nights sleep. I didn’t reach out to anyone including Dr. Roberts today but will be my first right after I wake up. I’m going to ask his PA or one of his nurses to go ahead and get me setup as quickly as possible for an MRI in order for Dr. Roberts to be able to discuss any options. My plan is to have a procedure done to help ease the pain enough that I can continue working out. My faith is in God first and very close behind is John Roberts, MD.
